The Uprising Craft Bakery is
100% made from scratch

Est. in 2018, our owner & head baker, Patrik Beil, started the bakery from his home oven, baking bread for friends. With his twenty years of bakery experience and a special love for sourdough, Patrik quickly built a local reputation for his tasty loaves (and a rising demand to match).

With Patrik's bread making soon outgrowing his domestic kitchen, it was time to move into an official production space. And so, The Uprising Craft Bakery officially began, based out of Canmore, Alberta in 2019. And now, The Uprising has its own brand retail concept, The Uprising Bake Shop + Espresso Bar, located in downtown Banff + downtown Canmore.

All our handcrafted breads & pastries are baked fresh each morning in our Canmore bakery. We are passionate about what we do, and are honoured to have our tasty delights in some of the Bow Valley's finest restaurants, bistros, cafes + retailers as wholesale clients. 

We want every Uprising bite to be delicious, real, and honest. 

As well as offering wholesale clients a range of products, we also love nothing more than collaborating with chefs & restaurant owners, to come up with creative menu solutions.  If you are interested in custom products, our owner Patrik will happily listen to your requirements/vision and provide suggested options and samples.
